I’m Sylvie Butterfield a Utah-based Country Singer-Songwriter that has been singing ever since I can remember. As a young child I would hop on a stool and sing for every visitor that came to my home. Often, visitors would laugh at me thinking I was the cutest thing they’d ever seen. However, that’s not what I thought they were laughing about. Thinking they were making fun of me, I would threaten them that I’d give them a damn good kickin’ if they didn’t stop. Oh, and better believe I delivered on my threat. Now many years later, I still enjoy singing and performing for others. However, my audience need not fear a damn good kickin’ anymore. With a voice that needs to be heard from breath taking vocals to heartwarming lyrics. My storytelling captures the essence of rural Utah life, drawing on experiences I’ve had on my family’s sheep farm and cattle ranch. There I’ve learned the value of hard work, God, country, and family. My music is based on real life experience.
